Call for Workshops
CMG2003 / Dallas
December 7 2003
Performance evaluation and capacity management of complex processor environments require careful attention. In difficult economic times, gains in productivity and efficiency are a necessity. Simply stated, CMG2003 will be the single conference whose complete focus is on performance and capacity evaluation techniques and management practices across multiple platforms.
In that light, CMG is asking for Workshops that focus not only on performance and capacity issues, but also on any technologies related to system management or Information Systems. Submissions at all levels are requested: tutorial, technical, managerial and leading edge. No paper is required, but we do ask for Powerpoint foils with speakers’ notes. Workshops are traditionally 3 hours in length along with a half hour break. Speakers will be remunerated based in large part on attendance; specifically, $25 / attendee. In addition, we are also asking for "How To" Workshops that explain how to apply popular tools and products to common job responsibilities. "How To" presentations are meant to educate performance professionals in the application of commercially available technology.
