Call for Workshops CMG2004 / Las Vegas
December 5th - 10th, 2004
IT professionals responsible for today’s fast paced, complex computing environments know the only constant is change. Today’s leading edge competitive advantage will quickly become tomorrow’s legacy liability. To learn new techniques, improve or maintain your skills in the fast moving area of performance optimization, resource management, capacity planning, modeling and cost management, access to information from industry leaders is no longer an option but a requirement.
For over 25 years, CMG has been the key source of expert information, capturing the collective wisdom of the best in the industry. In this light CMG is asking for Workshops that focus not only on performance and capacity issues, but also on any technologies related to system management or Information Systems. In addition, we are also asking for "How To" Workshops that explain how to apply popular tools and products to common job responsibilities. "How To" presentations are meant to educate performance professionals in the application of commercially available technology.
Submissions at all levels are requested: tutorial, technical, managerial and leading edge. No paper is required, but we do ask for Powerpoint foils with speaker’s notes. Workshops are traditionally 3 hours in length along with a half hour break. Speakers will be compensated based on attendance at the rate of $25.00 per attendee.
