History of CMG

Formed about 1974, CMG allows computer professionals to exchange information and ideas about computer performance evaluation, regardless of the installed computer system or performance evaluation product/tool. Over the past decade, CMG has evolved as a leading organization for the exchange of information among enterprise computing professionals.

CMG is led by officers and directors elected by the members. CMG's dynamic growth is due to its talented and dedicated volunteers. Volunteers build new skills or put existing talents to excellent use by actively participating in CMG activities. As a volunteer, you can guide CMG into the future.

CMG's Mission

CMG's purpose is to promote the exchange of technical information among IT professionals through regional groups, technical publications, and an annual conference. CMG provides its members the education, networking, and leadership opportunities vital to success in today's competitive industry.

The association's activities provide:

  • Information on emerging technology as well as methodology for existing performance professionals
