33rd Annual CMG'07 Conference Secures Sunday Workshop Sessions
IT Topics Range from Linux/UNIX to Windows to z/OS and from ITIL to Storage to Web Services
TURNERSVILLE, NJ., July 10, 2007 – The Computer Measurement Group (CMG), the IT professionals responsible for planning, measuring and managing the world's largest IT infrastructures, announced today that it has secured its line-up for its Sunday workshop sessions at the 33rd annual CMG'07 conference taking place from December 2-7 in San Diego, CA at the Manchester Grand Hyatt.
CMG'07 starts on Sunday, December 2 with an entire day dedicated to three hour seminars. These Sunday workshops run the gamut of IT topics from Linux/UNIX to Windows to z/OS and from ITIL to Storage to Web Services. The presenters provide an in-depth look at leading-edge IT technologies and techniques. Attendees also have an opportunity to interact with specialists who would normally not be accessible.
“We had a tremendous response for Sunday Workshop submissions this year,” said Michael Recant, CMG'07 Sunday Workshop Chair. “The result is an amazing array of top level presenters and dynamite sessions. The Sunday Workshops provide a unique opportunity for sessions that are outside the normal Performance/Capacity Management envelope, providing both presenters and attendees a chance to stretch their horizons. We believe this year's lineup will interest ALL attendees, regardless of background.”
The Sunday Workshops are organized as two sets of half-day sessions. This year CMG will run seven concurrent sessions, both morning and afternoon, providing an unprecedented variety of presenters and topics to choose from. Each Sunday attendee gets a copy of the Sunday Workshop Book, a collection of the class materials for all sessions that are held on Workshop Sunday.
